Basic camping

The cheapest way of going on a safari is by basic camping. We provide all camping equipments needed in good quality. You will sleep on public campsites and share sanitary facilities. Basic camping is a great way of getting very close to nature. In the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro you can camp inside the park which means you will share the area with wild animals, so don’t be surprised to meet an elephant on your way to the bathroom. The guide and cook will set up and break down the camp. The cook will serve fresh made delicious meals three times a day. If you would like to try some local Tanzanian food, indicate it when making a booking so the cook can adjust his shopping.

Tented Camps

Staying in tented camps is a great way of experiencing nature up close but enjoy luxury at the same time. Tented camps are big tents where you can stand in. It has all the luxury a normal hotel room would have, a ‘real’ bed, your own bathroom, closets, lights and so on. The walls and roof are made out of canvas, so you can hear the nature outside. You will enjoy your meals in a restaurant located at the tented camp. Most tented camps have 10 to 20 tents and vary from luxury, from medium luxury to extreme luxury.

Lodging

There are many different lodging possibilities when going on safari. We are familiar with the lodges who have the best value for money and good location. We will try our best to meet your personal wishes. There are lodges inside and outside the nature parks. The benefit of staying in a lodge inside a park is that these lodges usually have a great view and you can spot wildlife from your room. Generally the lodges outside the parks are a bit cheaper. Some lodges have swimming pools.

After spending a day in a vehicle driving on a dusty road it is nice to relax in a hot bath after you enjoyed a superb dinner.
